DEMO COURSE TO EXPERIENCE E-ROBOTICS

This demo course for Robotics will give you an insight about how the students learn STEaM concepts with hands-on robotics models. The teachers will also be able to relate and explain to students various concepts efficiently in a real world environment. The online lecture videos will show in detail the design, components, building instructions and programming instructions for each robot. These classes will also explain in detail, how the robotic model the students build and program, will teach them different STEaM  concepts, according to the grade they are in.

Five minute Bot

To build and program Five Minute Bot that is capable of driving around a course.

AIM:

To build and program Five Minute Bot that is capable of driving around a course.

DESCRIPTION:

The Five-Minute Bot robot uses two-motor drive and a pivoting castor wheel to allow it to turn easily on either carpet or hard floors. It can be used as a simple turning vehicle or as a base for other projects.

The first step is to characterize the  robot's performance. This means, taking measurements to determine the specifications of robot's movements. This is a good opportunity to reinforce, or introduce the correlation between the wheels' radius and its circumference.

GRABBER

The Grabber mechanism model allows the Robots with mobility Challenges to pick up objects off the floor, it can use sensor to detect objects and decide whether the Object should be picked up or not.

AIM:

The aim is to explore gear setups, gear ratios, and directional changes, and predicting directional motion of a string of gears.

REAL TIME APPLICATION:

It can be used for people who use wheelchairs and are unable to  independently reach down to pick up the objects on the floor.

It can also be used in underwater vehicles and submarines to pick up things from the oceans's bottoms.

Starting with Electronics and Arduino

Arduino is an open-source electronics platform based on Easy-to-use hardware and software.

Learn Circuitry (hardware) and Programming (software) together.

Kids can learn circuitry without understanding the complex theories behind electronics to start building their own robot. Explaining components and wiring can be done easily using diagrams and metaphors. They will also learn about common components for simple robots such as batteries, resistors, LEDs, transistors, current (voltage), loops and much more!
